Educating the whole child

With over 80 locations across the US and Asia, Guidepost Montessori provides thousands of children with authentic child-centered education.

Designed by experts

Qualified staff implement a scientifically designed curriculum to aid each child in their development. Teachers tailor lessons to each student's interests and abilities, giving them freedom to explore their own interests as they take their first steps towards independence.

Preparing children for life

Montessori students overtake children who attend other kinds of schools in terms of academic achievement, social and emotional development, and overall happiness. They also develop lifelong skills, such as growth mindset and a friendly relationship with error.

Building community

Teachers and families form really close bonds at Guidepost Montessori. Your child's teacher will reach out to you to keep you informed of your child's development. And with a growing network of schools, you can transfer your child to another location at any time.

Nido

For infants ages 6 weeks to 16 months old

Nido (or "nest" in English) describes the nurturing classroom environment designed for infants aged around 10 weeks up to 16 months old. All of the young child's developmental needs are met with warmth and care by expert staff, such as their desire to walk and talk, eat and drink independently, and understand the world around them.

Toddler

For children ages 16 months to 3 years old

Children ages 16 months to 3 years old make astonishing achievements in terms of communication, independence, physical movement, problem-solving ability, and social interactions. The Toddler program helps young children maximize the gains they make during this crucial time.

Children's House

For children ages 3 to 6 years old

A scientifically designed program for children ages 3 to 6 years old. Students direct their own activities, building knowledge, confidence and social skills along the way. Teachers empower children to use all the materials available to them, which range from practical life activities to geography to mathematics.

Mandarin Immersion

For children ages 16 months to 6 years old

In our Mandarin Immersion program, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Mandarin. Students learn both Mandarin and English literacy skills, however, the overall emphasis on Mandarin rapidly increases fluency, as children feel naturally compelled to communicate with their Mandarin-speaking guides.

Spanish Immersion

For children ages 16 months to 6 years old

In our Spanish Immersion program, the prevailing language spoken throughout the day is Spanish. Students learn both Spanish and English literacy skills, however, the overall emphasis on Spanish rapidly increases fluency, as children feel naturally compelled to communicate with their Spanish-speaking guides.

Elementary

For children ages 6 to 12 years old

Designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old, this program combines classical academic subjects — such as math, literature and science — with student-led project-based work, allowing each child to work at their own pace and reach their full potential.

Middle and High School

For children ages 12 to 18 years old

Students can continue into middle and high school with the Academy of Thought and Industry (ATI). ATI is a modern Montessori-inspired middle and high school network delivering a powerful education for independence, to develop curious, self-motivated adolescents who thrive in school and in life.
